Allyson is a Santa Cruz local whose roots run deep in the wedding and event planning industry. Her love for events blossomed while attending Sonoma State University where she joined Gamma Phi Beta sorority. While planning all of her sorority’s social events, Allyson found her true calling in life. Upon graduation Allyson moved back to Santa Cruz to pursue her passion. For six years she served as the Events Manager at Shadowbrook, planning over 80 weddings and 300 private parties annually. Prior to starting her own business, she was the Director of Events for The Club at Pasadera, Catering Coordinator for Monterey Peninsula Country Club assisting with AT&T Pro Am and private member event planning and a Designer and Coordinator for Eventscapes.

Wedding coordinators are professionals who have experience and industry relationships that will allow the brides wedding vision come to life.
A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc. A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event &/or they have other events they are overseeing on property during the same time. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, greet all your vendors, send out a timeline prior, make sure you are having a great time celebrating and to ensure that your vision has become a reality.
As soon as you get engaged is recommended. Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin planning, the better! If you are interested in the Signature Package, we recommend booking as soon as you have secured your date & venue.
